Java Application Platform Consultant

Opis stanowiska:

  • Representing the Java Application Platform (services) to the customer

  • Supporting projects from kickoff till launch in production

  • Guiding projects in questions and issues regarding platform, infrastructure and process

  • Coordination of all partners for configuration purposes

  • Supporting projects (developer & PL s) during usage of the JAP ToolChain

  • Ensuring quality and compliance to standards

  • Single point of contact for all questions in platform development and configuration

Oferujemy:

The Java Application Platform (JAP) is the standard platform for Java Enterprise Edition-based client/server style applications.



JAP provides services to support application development, to centrally operate and maintain applications and to manage and evolve the platform as a product.



By standardizing key features and processes in solution delivery and operations, JAP is able to provide tool support for these processes and to automate key activities.



The JAP Consultant supports applications during the initial onboarding, new Business releases or migrations to newer platform versions. The project consulting starts by understanding customer needs with a reflection on conditions of the standard platform, to find and implement optimal solutions.



An actual topic is the first JAP release on Cloud (Infrastructure as a Service).



The role as a JAP Consultant demands a senior JEE development background combined with the ability to communicate to customers, work in a self-organized independent manner and the capability of proper prioritization of tasks. Coding is not part of the role, but the associate will face a complex environment in regards of technologies, customers and stakeholders where he ll be central SME to contribute his technical expertise in problem solving or software-architectural designs questions of clients.

Wymagania:

Technical skills



 General IT knowledge and background in development & infrastructure



 Experience in distributed systems



 Experience in Linux, Webservices and Oracle databases



 Experience in configuration of enterprise components



 Experience in Java EE development



 Experience in Web Logic Application Sever (WLS)



 Experience in Java Application Platform (JAP) of Credit Suisse would be an asset



 Fluent written and spoken in German and Enlgish

 Able to show enthusiasm in service oriented tasks



 Diplomatic and stress resistant



 Team oriented, independent and proactive



 Advanced skills in coordination, organization and tracking
